Holiday Bakery Bus in a Box

Sauk Valley Community College is excited to offer virtual trips this fall through the SVCC Community Education department. Holiday Bakery Bus in a Box is Thursday, December 9 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

Join us virtually as we explore bakeries in Milwaukee and enjoy sweet treats. Sit back, relax, and enjoy! We will bring the treats and learning opportunities to you! Enjoy pastries from authentic Italian, German, Danish, Mexican, and French bakeries. Participants will need a computer or mobile device, sound, and internet connection.   

A box will be mailed directly to participants the week of December 6 and include: a half-pound box of delicious treats from Peter Sciortino's Bakery, a mini Three King's Cake from La Flor de Trigo, a dozen of National Bakery's German pecan fingers, 6 madeleines from Greige Patisserie, and hand-dipped chocolate treats from Ultimate Confections.

Boxes are $89. You can share the experience or keep all the treats for yourself. Virtual tours also make a great gift or care package for a friend who loves traveling. Contents are planned to be adequate for two participants to share the tour experience.
